Instruct Us

Our service could pay for itself many times over by saving you money on Probate fees and other costs.  Additionally we will often be able to reduce your inheritance tax bill.  Perhaps most importantly of all though, we will save you time, frustration and stress.

What Happens Next?

Upon receiving your instructions we will contact you within one working day to obtain full details of your case.  We will then obtain competitive quotations from our panel of solciitors.  The Probate Management Fee of £295 only becomes payable when you accept our quotation.

 

Bereavement Advisory Service

The fee for our bereavement advisory service is £295 inclusive of VAT.  This includes:

  • Obtaining a highly competitive quote from a Funeral Director.
  • Obtaining a highly competitive fixed fee quote from a Probate Solicitor.
  • Arranging tax advice if the Estate is over the Inheritance Tax threshold.
  • Organising the clearance, maintenance and sale of the deceased’s former home.
  • Arranging for the sale of any shares or other assets.
  • Dealing with all other ancillary matters such as the re-homing of any pets.
  • Organising investment advice if appropriate.
  • Providing regular progress reports by letter, e-mail and telephone.
  • Acting as a single point of contact for all enquiries until the Estate is settled.

Family Support Service

The fee for the family support package is £395 inclusive of VAT.  This includes:

  • Liaison with Social Services as necessary.
  • Help with arranging care in the home.
  • Checking that the family are receiving all the state benefits that they are entitled to.
  • Advice on the choice of a suitable care home or sheltered accommodation.
  • Advice on the provision of care home fees.
  • Advice on protecting the client’s assets from the Local Authority.
  • Arranging of short term loans to provide for living expenses until Probate is granted.
  • Arranging bereavement counselling if required.
